Latest News In Partnership with The Clarkson Foundation Trying Together to Make a Lasting Difference School Of Hard Knocks (SOHK) is thrilled to celebrate the valued support of The Clarkson Foundation, whose generous contributions are helping us make a lasting difference in the lives of young people. The Foundation’s dedication to supporting SOHK’s resilience-building programme at two of our schools in London is having a profound impact on students at these critical stages in their lives. The Clarkson Foundation says: “The Clarkson Foundation is delighted to provide ongoing support for the School of Hard Knocks and its programmes at Bacons College and Westminster School. Having seen the programmes in action first-hand, we truly recognise the value and impact that the brilliant team at SOHK is having on young people at such a critical and influential time in their lives, helping them to better cope, make better decisions and build greater resilience. They are gaining skills that will last with them a lifetime, and it’s this kind of sustained impact that we look for in our charity partners.” A spokesperson/teacher from Bacons College says: “The SOHK team have continued to demonstrate an unquestionable commitment to students at Bacon's College. “They have provided weekly support in the form of practical activities, classroom-based learning and mentoring which have better equipped students to manage themselves within and beyond the school gates. “The opportunities to enrich the children's experiences through trips and visits is greatly appreciated by the school, students and their wider families. The team go above and beyond to support young people in all areas of their lives, and we are extremely grateful.” SOHK programmes are designed to empower young people with the tools for coping, resilience, and decision-making, and this partnership allows us to strengthen and expand this mission. We’re immensely grateful for The Clarkson Foundation’s continued belief in SOHK and their recognition of the lasting benefits we bring to these communities. Together, we’re shaping brighter, more resilient futures. To find out more about our school’s programmes and how they can help your pupils, please contact Torran McDougall, Director of Programmes.
